We build gear to be kept, not returned — but sizing is personal and parcels have rough journeys. Here is exactly how returns and exchanges work with us. No fine-print traps, no runaround. If anything is unclear, email support@motorbikehorse.com and a real person will reply within 24 hours.
How long do I have?
You have 30 days from the day your order is delivered to request a return or an exchange. Requests made after 30 days can't be accepted, so if you're on the fence, get in touch early - asking costs nothing.
What condition does the gear need to be in?
You're entitled to check your gear the same way you would in a store: try it on, check the fit, look it over. What you can't do is ride in it. To be eligible, your item must be:
– Unworn and unwashed, beyond trying it on for fit
– With all original tags attached and in its original packaging
– Complete — all armor pads and protectors included and in their pockets
– Accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase
Gear that has been ridden in, washed, altered, or returned with missing armor doesn't qualify. We inspect every return before a refund or exchange is processed, and we reserve the right to decline requests we determine to be fraudulent or abusive.
What can't be returned?
– Final sale and clearance items
– Gift cards
– Free gifts included with a purchase
– Items made or altered to special instructions
How do I exchange for a different size?
Size exchanges are the most common request we get, and we've kept it simple:
– Email support@motorbikehorse.com with your order number and the size you need. We'll confirm availability and hold the replacement for you.
– Send your original item back following the return steps below.
– Once your return passes inspection, the replacement ships out in 3-5 working days.
How do I return something?
Step 1. Email support@motorbikehorse.com with your order number, the item(s) you're returning, and the reason. Please don't ship anything back before we've confirmed — unauthorised returns can't be tracked to your order and may be delayed or declined.
Step 2. We'll reply within 24 hours with your return authorisation and the return address in US.
Step 3. Pack the item securely, include your order number inside, and ship it with a tracked service. Keep your proof of postage — the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us.
Who pays return shipping?
If we got it wrong — you received a defective, damaged, incorrect size, or incorrect item — the return is on us: we'll cover the return shipping and send a replacement, your choice.
If you've changed your mind or need a different size, return shipping and replacement product shipping are yours to cover.
My gear arrived damaged or has parts missing
In the unlikely event your order arrives damaged in transit or with components missing, email: support@motorbikehorse.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number, your name and phone number, and clear photos of the item and the packaging. We'll respond within 24 hours and make it right with a replacement or refund.
Please note what damage cover doesn't extend to: wear from use, damage caused by improper care or negligence, and damage from events outside anyone's control. Crash damage is not a defect — it means the gear did its job.
When do I get my refund?
Once your return arrives, our team inspects it and emails you the outcome within [3–5] working days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method automatically. Your bank or card provider may then take [5–10] working days to post the funds — that final step is theirs, not ours, but if anything looks stuck, contact us and we'll chase it.
