Privacy Policy — MotorbikeHorse

This policy explains what personal information MotorbikeHorse collects when you visit: motorbikehorse.com (the “Site”) or buy from us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. We've written it in plain language on purpose — if anything is unclear, email us at info@motorbikehorse.com.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for the Site is MotorBikeHorse LLC, registered in Texas (“MotorbikeHorse”, “we”, “us”). For any privacy question or request, contact info@motorbikehorse.com.

2. What we collect

Information you give us directly:

– Order and account details: name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number, and the items you purchase.

– Payment information: processed by our payment providers — we never see or store your full card number.

– Communications: emails you send us, reviews you submit, and survey responses.

– Marketing sign-ups: your email address (and phone number, if you opt in to SMS) when you subscribe.

Information collected automatically when you browse:

– Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referral source, and interactions with the Site, collected via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).

3. How we use it

– To process and deliver your orders, take payment, send order and dispatch confirmations, and provide customer support.

– To handle returns, exchanges, and warranty or damage claims.

– To send marketing emails or SMS if you've opted in - every message includes an unsubscribe option.

– To operate, secure, and improve the Site, including analytics on how it is used.

– To prevent fraud and screen orders, and to comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting rules.

4. Legal bases (UK and European Economic Area customers)

Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (processing your order); legitimate interests (site security, fraud prevention, analytics, and improving our products); consent (marketing communications and non-essential cookies), which you can withdraw at any time; and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who need it to run the store, under contracts that limit how they can use it:

– E-commerce platform: Shopify Inc., which hosts the Site and processes orders (see Shopify's privacy policy for details).

– Payment providers: Shop Pay to process transactions and prevent fraud.

– Carriers and fulfillment partners: DHL / UPS etc. and our dispatch team receive your name, address, and contact details to deliver your order.

– Marketing and analytics tools: Klaviyo for email/SMS; Google Analytics; Meta Pixel; TikTok Pixel — include ONLY what is actually installed.

– Authorities, where disclosure is required by law, and successors in the event of a business transfer.

6. Cookies and tracking

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies: essential cookies that make the store function (cart, checkout, security), and — with your consent where required — analytics and advertising cookies that help us understand Site usage and measure our marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout from working.

7. Marketing choices

You'll only receive marketing from us if you opted in, and you can leave any time: click unsubscribe in any email, reply STOP to any SMS, or email info@motorbikehorse.com. Opting out of marketing does not affect order and service emails, which we must send to fulfil your purchase.

8. International transfers

We operate internationally: your information may be processed outside your country of residence, including in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe, where our platform, service providers, and fulfillment operations are located. Where UK/EU law applies to a transfer, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses adopted by the relevant authorities.

9. How long we keep it

We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements; marketing data until you unsubscribe or after a period of inactivity; and analytics data per the retention settings of the tools listed in Section 5. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct it; delete it; receive a copy in a portable format; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. UK/EEA customers also have the right to complain to their data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email at info@motorbikehorse.com with your request. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law usually 30–45 days depending on jurisdiction. We honor these requests regardless of whether a specific statute compels us to.

11. Security

The Site runs on Shopify's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure with TLS encryption on all pages. We restrict access to personal information to personnel who need it to serve you. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, and we will notify you and the relevant authorities of any breach where the law requires it.

12. Children

The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 (or the age of majority where they live). If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact info@motorbikehorse.com and we will delete it.

13. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party services — payment providers, carriers, social platforms. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy does not cover them.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be flagged on the Site.
